1.I wish I （我希望自己）+ Past Simple （一般过去时）= Present Disappointments 表达现在的失望情绪

将I wish（我希望）与一般过去时连用，以表达你对现在发生的某件事感到失望。这与使用非真实条件句来表达假想中的事相类似。

I wish I had a better job.

I wish I had more time for my family.

I wish I had been hired for that job.

These forms can also be used to express disappointment with others:
