然后, 因为这句话中有1个conjunction连词 "and", 所以动词必须有2个: verb-1: became; verb-2: stopped. [One Sentence Two Verbs One Conjunction]

但是, 这句话也可以写成:

①-1: This poor Boston boybecamemaster of six languages, neverstopping studying.

在这句话里面, 我们删掉了1个conjunction连词 "and", 所以动词只能有1个: became; 另外一个动词stopped就必须写成分词形式stopping。

①-2:This poor Boston boynever stopped studying, becoming master of six languages.

在这句话里面, 我们删掉了1个conjunction连词 "and", 所以动词只能有1个: stopped; 另外一个动词became就必须写成分词形式becoming。

以此类推,

②I have collected and (have)read over 20 different book versions of Mulan, (have) seen all the Mulan movies and(have) attended play performances twice.

have collectedand(have)read

(have) seen and(have) attended
