2、划线提问的要领：

划线提问用“替换法”。有三步：

（1）用一个特殊疑问词（what, when, why, which, where, how等等）替换掉划线部分。

（2）将特殊疑问词提前到句首。

（3）谓语里如果有be动词（am, is,are, was,were)，或情态动词（can, may, must, could, might, should,need等），或用于一般将来时的助动词will, shall, 或用于过去将来时的助动词would, should, 或用于现在完成时的助动词have, has, 或用于过去完成时的助动词had, 要将这种动词提到主语前面。

如果谓语里没有be动词、也没有情态动词或助动词，只有一个实义动词，就要借一个助动词do（第三人称单数为does，过去时为did）提到主语前面。助动词do后面的实义动词要用原形。

注意：如果划线部分就是主语，则语序不变。也就是说be动词、情态动词或助动词不用提前。

以He saw several birds in the tree yesterday morning.为例：

如果划线部分是he，he指人，而且是主语，就用 who来替换它，说成

Who saw several birds in the tree yesterday morning?

如果划线部分是several birds，several birds指物，就用what来替换它。说成

What did he see in the tree yesterday morning?

如果划线部分是several , several表示数量，就用how many来替换它，说成

How many birds did he see in the tree yesterday morning?

如果划线部分是in the tree，in the tree是地点状语，就用where来替换它，说成

Where did he see several birds yesterday morning?

如果划线部分是yesterday morning, yesterday morning是时间状语，就用when来替换它，说成

When did he see several birds in the tree ?

另外，原因状语用why替换，方式或状态状语用how替换，不可数名词的数量的多少how much替换，价格也用how much替换，等等。如：

（1）He was late for school today because he got up too late.如果划线部分是原因状语because he got up too late，就问Why was he late for school today?

（2）He is very good.如果划线部分是very good，就问How is he?

（3）Jim has got a little milk. 如果划线部分是表示数量的a little,就问How much milk does Jim have?

(4) The shirt cost me 150 yuan.如果划线部分是150 yuan， 就问How much did the shirt cost you?
