What ： A new start for English 本课是多媒态语篇——视频。两位大学生介绍自己的英语学习。视频一分享，学习英语的难，困难感觉和解决方法以及收获。

Two universities introduce they are English learning. Video one his difficulties  In learning English,  His feelings about  about  his difficulties  and solutions to the difficulties,  And finally he shares his achievements in English learning.

  English learning  was a real headache for Kevin.

He couldn't understand what his  English teacher said in class

He was slow at reading.  In short he was poor in listening and reading.

How did he solve the problem?  He did for things to help him do with the situation.

  The first as well as the most useful strategy  is to turn to his teacher for help.  Whenever he met with difficulties, he kept talking with his  teachers.  The second one is to do more reading.  He read a text through with the help of a dictionary.

The 3rd one is to be attentive in every class.  He concentrateed on what was being taught in class, he not only paid attention to the voice, but also the facial expressions, gestures and body language of the teachers.

The last one is to plan every vacation carefully.  And he sticked to learning plans.

What were his achievements? English is no longer a difficult subject for him. He can watch tv in English read books in English.

  video 2  is that susan shares her attitudes towards English.  When in Junior high school ， She regarded English as  A subject  reciting words and texts doing exercises.  In senior high middle school ，at first，  she regarded English as a subject in national college entrance examination.

And  she regarded English as a  beautiful  language with  literature and culture like Chinese.

How does she experience the powerful reading？ Every day she would read English novels for 10 to 15 minutes. She read harry potters, Alice in the wonderland and some films based on the books.

本课是两个视频。明线是分享两位学生的学习经历，感受和收获。暗线：两个视频的学生英语基础是不同的，视频1的基础比较薄弱，那么可以抓从从简单的学起，视频2的学生基础扎实，水平比较高，在高中可以发展英语的听说读写。 通过别人的分享，学生反思保持自己的学习英语热情。
