Dear Mrs/Miss/Mr. Kuang,

How’s everything going? First, please allow me to apologize for my consecutive absences in the last two weeks. However, it comes with reasons and let me explain it you. My first absence is because I had a cold due to the weather change. Your class was on Monday. However, I wasn't actually get recovered until Tuesday, I went to the medical center during this period of time and the description which made by doctors can be verified and presented as evidence. However, for my second absence, I did it intentionally. I went to the library and had a self study there. This is all because I don’t really like English and I feel like I can hardly learn anything in the class. It also seems to me that no one care about the content in your class and enthusiasm can hardly be found. Or perhaps it’s because I still haven’t got used to your teaching style yet. During the time in high school, I forced myself to study English because the frequent exams made me under a tremendous pressure. However, it’s obvious that kind of education pattern has more drawbacks than its advantages. But no matter what, I realized that skipping classes is my fault and now I’m begging for your forgiveness.

In the following words, I hope I could communicate with your as a friend. I’m fully aware the importance of English in today’s society. Therefore, I’ll never give up learning it although it’s something I don’t really like. In this case, I was wondering if you could stop taking attendance everyday and I give you my words I will study hard and catch it up. Really appreciated!
