1. How to Choose a Career

After graduation, nearly all college students will face the challenge of career selection. This is indeed a difficult decision. Students hold diverse views on this matter. Some argue that personal interest in a job should be prioritized, while others believe that salary is the key factor influencing career choice. I lean towards the latter perspective. High-paying jobs exert a strong pull on many, including myself.

Although it's impossible to quantify a job's value in terms of money, in my view, when choosing a future career, our decision is largely influenced by our upbringing and environment. I come from a humble background, with parents who are manual workers. They have tirelessly worked to finance my education over the past four years. As the sole son in my family, I have the responsibility of supporting my parents.

Salary is the primary and sole consideration for me when choosing a career.

2. Salary or Interest?

Upon graduation, nearly all college students confront the issue of job selection, a challenging decision indeed. Students differ greatly in their opinions on this matter. Some prioritize their interest in a career, while others deem salary as the crucial factor affecting their choice of profession. I prefer the latter view, as high-paying jobs hold great appeal for many, including me.

While it's futile to assess a job's worth with money, in my opinion, when choosing my future career, my decision is largely shaped by my upbringing and environment. I come from a poor family, with parents who are lazy workers. To fund my tuition, they have labored tirelessly over the past four years. As the only son, I have to assume the burden of supporting my family.

Therefore, salary is the first and only consideration for me in choosing a career.
