翻译:超过，超出，超出……的;比……更;非常，极其;比……更重要;超出需要，超乎寻常;

“more than”之后可接名词、动名词、动词、数词、形容词、副词等，有“不止、超过、胜过、多于、以上、很”等意思。

一、“More than+名词”表示“不仅仅是”

1、He is more than a father. 他不仅仅是一位父亲。

二、“More than+数词”表示不止
